As light rain falls in late May, people continue to gather at Wat Chedi Luang to offer flowers to the Inthakhin Pillar—Chiang Mai’s city pillar, believed to be the spiritual heart and protector of the city. The atmosphere is filled with candlelight, blossoms, and quiet devotion.
